The Refresh Hygiene Program is designed to support individuals experiencing hardship by providing access to essential hygiene and personal care services. The program recognises that maintaining personal cleanliness and presentation is closely linked to dignity, confidence, and overall wellbeing. 

Services include basic grooming and hygiene support, such as hairdressing, access to shower facilities, and laundry assistance in collaboration with Brollie Brigade and Orange Sky, respectively. In addition, essential hygiene materials—including toiletries and personal care items—are supplied to participants based on need. 

Clothing support is also available, including new garments through collaboration with Thread Together under a formal agreement, alongside good-quality second-hand items. 

All services are provided free of charge and delivered in a respectful, private, and non-judgemental environment. The program is structured to ensure that individuals can access care safely and with a strong emphasis on personal dignity and confidentiality. 

The Refresh Hygiene Program operates as part of SMOS’s broader commitment to holistic community care, addressing practical needs while fostering a sense of inclusion and human worth. Participation is open to all who require support, with services delivered through compassionate engagement and community partnership.
