St Mary’s Children Program

The St Mary’s Children Program is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, including orphans and those placed under government care. The program seeks to provide stability, encouragement, and developmental support through consistent engagement and structured activities.

Volunteers contribute through regular visits that include coaching, teaching, and recreational interaction. These engagements are designed to foster confidence, social skills, and a sense of belonging. Children are also supported through organised activities, entertainment, and the provision of gifts during special occasions, reinforcing recognition and care.

The program extends beyond personal interaction to include collaboration with residential facilities. Where needed, SMOS assists in improving living environments through renovation and maintenance initiatives, contributing to safe and dignified spaces for children.

In addition, the program promotes pathways for long-term support, including sponsorship and, where appropriate and legally eligible, adoption advocacy.

Pastoral care is integrated throughout the program. This includes prayer, Scripture reading, and the organisation of Sunday School activities, offered with sensitivity and respect. The St Mary’s Children Program aims to nurture holistic wellbeing—emotional, social, and spiritual—within a stable and supportive framework.
