PartnerLink and Support Initiative
The PartnerLink and Support Initiative, an initiative of St Mary Outreach Service (SMOS), is designed to connect individuals and families with a broader network of community services beyond those directly provided by SMOS. The program recognises that many needs require specialised support and aims to bridge gaps through effective referral and collaboration.
Through this initiative, participants are guided toward appropriate external organisations and service providers, including those offering assistance with employment preparation, résumé writing, disability support services, and access to government programs such as NDIS and Centrelink.
In addition to referrals, the program facilitates opportunities for partner organisations and charities to present their services directly to disadvantaged and marginalised communities. These engagements may take the form of information sessions, community events, or on-site outreach visits.
All interactions are conducted in a respectful, inclusive, and supportive manner, with attention to individual circumstances and needs. The PartnerLink and Support Initiative aims to empower participants through access, awareness, and coordinated care, promoting pathways toward stability, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
